Tomb of Akbar the great

Tomb of Mughal caliph Jalal-Uddin-Muhammad-"Akbar"..situated in Agra Sikandra Uttarpradesh India.
Shahenshah Akbar laid the foundation and His son Mughal caliph Salim Jahangir completed. started building in 1605 and completed in 1613. This tomb comprises Graves of Akbar Badshah and his family members like-
-Daniyal Mirza (third son of Akbar)
Died- 19March 1605
-Zeb-un-nissa (Eldest child of Mughal caliph Aurangezeb)
Died- 26 may 1702
-khanum sultan begum (eldest daughter of Akbar Badshah)
Died- 21 November 1603
This tomb also have the tomb of " Founder of Sikandra city"...second sultan of Lodi dynasty

Sultan Sikandar shah Lodi at the beginning.


This tomb is built on the principles of Char Minar Hyderabad.
With 4 giant marble minrates (gateway building)
center tomb / building is an five storied building..This is built upon 119 acere ground.
an exact concoction of Hindu, Christian, Islamic, Buddhist and Jain designs and motifs, bespeaking of his religious tolerance and secular views....The Heavenly attractive charbagh garden which contains a huge collection of Animals like 🦚 peacock, 🦌 deers etc makes environment quite more electric..The tomb is bordered with a lot of greenery......This tomb is now under ASI
